What are ombre powder brows?
Ombré Powder brows are a permanent make-up procedure that produces a soft, misty, powder filled brow similar to the look of make-up. The procedure involves a manual process of inserting pigment into the upper layers of the skin. The tails of the Ombré Powder brows are darker and fades into a light start in the front. This technique is perfect for all skin types and suitable for everyone with full or no hair.
What is the difference between ombre brows and microblading?
Microblading is a technique that allows for the illusion of creating what looks like realistic brow hairs. It looks like a client grew more brow hair over night. It’s the most natural enhancement to the brows. However, a client must have brow hair from the start to finish of their brows to allow the strokes to blend. If someone has oily skin this is not the best option for them.
What is the difference between ombre brows and microshading?
The term Microshading comes from two words “Microblading” and “Shading” giving you “Microshading” or also known as “Combo Brows.” With this service you get everything Ombré Powder Brows can give you plus added strokes in the front part of the brows to give a wispy brow appearance.

Does it hurt?
We get mix reviews on pain. Everyone has a different level of sensitivity, but the pain level for the procedure is considered mild to none. Lidocaine numbing gel will be used to ensure comfort throughout the tattoo session. After the procedure, some redness and slight swelling in the area is normal.
Do you have to shave off my own eyebrows?
No! Every attempt is made to retain all natural hair and integrate it into the design of the permanent eyebrows. In some cases, where shaping of the natural brow is required, a few hairs here and there may need to be removed to create a clean and aesthetically pleasing result.
How long will my eyebrows last?
The eyebrows will typically lasts 1-3 years. All results will vary per person depending on their: skin type, blood type, lifestyle, existing hair, bone structure, face shape, any medications taken, the amount of times the area had been worked on, and aftercare. We cannot guarantee successful results on 100% of our clients because everyone's skin takes differently to permanent make up, using a pencil or powder may still be needed. There are also no refunds as we have carried out the service.
Will I need a touch-up?
Yes, the second session takes place 6-8 weeks after the initial session. This allows us to make small adjustments to the brows if needed. This session will take approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete. Do not be alarmed by fading after the first application. The second appointment is to penetrate and lock the color into the dermal layer of the skin. Touchups are NOT included in the initial price. Touch ups must be scheduled during the appropriate time frame. If a touch up appointment does not meet the time frame, the appointment will be changed and additional touch up fees will apply.
How long does it take the brows to heal?
In some cases the eyebrow area may be slightly red after the procedure and color will appear very dark and obvious. This is normal for the procedure and part of the healing process. The eyebrows will lighten up in color as they heal. The color will fade as much as 30% during healing. In the following days, the eyebrows will continue to be dark and you will notice slight scabbing. DO NOT peel or pick at the scabs as this can affect the outcome and you may be unknowingly removing pigment. No down time is required after your procedure. It takes approximately 7-14 days for the brows to heal over, and about 1 month for the color to fully set in.
What will my aftercare be?
After your procedure, please be sure to follow these instructions:
The day of the treatment absorb. Within in the first hour following your procedure gently blot the area with a clean tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid. Do this every 5 minutes for the full day until draining has stopped. Removing this fluid prevents hardening of the lymph.
Days 1-7: Wash
Wash daily to remove bacteria and dead skin. (Don't worry...THIS DOES NOT REMOVE THE PIGMENT!) Gently wash your procedure area each morning and night with water and an ANTIBACTERIAL SOAP like Dial Soap, Cetaphil or Neutrogena. With a very light touch, use your fingertips to gently cleanse the affected area. Rub the area in a smooth motion for 10 seconds and rinse with water ensuring that all soap is rinsed away. To dry, gently pat with a clean tissue. DO NOT use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or any exfoliants.
Days 1-7: Moisturize
Apply a rice grain amount of the provided healing ointment with a cotton swab and spread it across the treated area. Be sure not to over-apply as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing. The ointment should be barely noticeable on the skin. Never put the ointment on a wet or damp tattoo.
Here are some extra tips to help with a smooth and easy recovery:
• Use a fresh pillowcase.
• Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally flake away. Picking can cause scarring or loss of color.
• No facials, face scrub, botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.
• Avoid hot, sweaty exercise and saunas for 2 weeks.
• Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after the procedure. Wear a hat when outdoors.
• Avoid heavy sweating and long hot showers for the first 10 days.
• Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days.
• Avoid swimming, lakes, hot tubs for the first 10 days.
• Avoid topical makeup, including sunscreen on the area until the brows are fully healed.
• Do not use exfoliants, retinol acids, or AHA’s on the brow area, they will fade your tattoo prematurely.
• Avoid alcohol and aspirin/ibuprofen and any vitamins that may thin your blood for 24 hours.
• Do not pick, peel, or scratch the treated area.
Remember, with the proper prep and aftercare routine you will have much better results with your procedure.
Important note about showering: Limit your showers to 5 minutes so you do not create too much steam. Keep your face/procedure area out of the water while you wash your body, then, at the end of your shower, wash your hair. Your face, or procedure area, should only be getting wet at the very last end of the shower. Avoid excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area.
